Australian designer Timothy Godbold wasn’t even planning on buying a house when he first saw this unusual cottage in the woods on Long Island. But the unique modernist architecture captivated him immediately, especially since he had always dreamed of a home with character and history. The building had been abandoned for several years, so restoring it to its former glory became a matter of honor for Timothy. The unusual complex lines of the exteriors found their reflection in the design of the interior spaces – differences in floor levels, windows of non-standard sizes, an original fireplace and sloping ceilings. Enjoy watching!
