Australian product designer and London digital creative have teamed up on ultimate bedroom dreamscapes as an antidote to the harsh reality of 2020. The creative campaign accompanies the launch of Sarah’s first bedframe amidst the backdrop of a global pandemic.
When was unable to create the usual physical studio sets with her creative team due to pandemic lockdowns, she saw the perfect opportunity to build an original story to support her new product launch in an inventive way.
Ellison had been a long-time fan of Charlotte’s work and, as luck would have it, the feeling was mutual. The two creatives set to work on designing the ultimate dreamy bedroom escape, one that beautifully presented Sarah’s latest design, ‘Yoko’. Equally, this imagery acts as some much-needed creative escapism in the face of an uncertain global situation.
“As a designer, it’s fun to see other creatives interpret your work in their own way,” says Sarah. “I love Charlotte’s use of the digital medium to evoke emotion. Her use of light and shadow in her imagery combined with her eye for unique interiors made me excited to see where her mind would take my Yoko bed. The resulting imagery feels like the perfect marriage of our individual aesthetics.”
