Australian homeware brand latest collection, , celebrates the comfort and sensibility that comes with practice and habit. The range of over 30 new items is born out of Director and Designer Cindy-Lee Davies reflecting on 14 years at the helm of the brand, simultaneously embracing things that change and things that don’t.
Enduring design, functionality and a sense of resourcefulness are fundamental to Davies’ design approach. Classic and modern influences are united by elementary forms and Lightly’s distinct mid-century practicality, with the range including trays, planters, goblets and brand new objects such as the ‘Essence’ incense holder. Architectural features such the Arc breathe new life into classic pieces like the ‘Lunae’ fruit bowl.
A colour palette inspired by places and people near and far represents personal reflections on the interplay between consistency and change. Vibrant forest green and teal bring the comfort and ritual of home to the fore, telling the story of grounding and change through Davies’ relationship with her young son, Teal Oliver Lightly.
