Design: Suna Interior DesignSuna Interior Design was commissioned to design several designs for boutique, Flemings Mayfair Hotel. The initial design was for seven different room designs that would be rolled out over 55 rooms. From this we were commissioned to create a complete re-design for one of the hotel’s apartments, encompassing everything from the interior fittings, bathrooms and kitchens to the fabrics and soft furnishings. The brief: create stylish, luxurious and distinctive designs that reinforced the strong Flemings Mayfair brand, which is subtle but strong and always of the highest quality. This is echoed throughout all of the designs. We designed the best contemporary British boutique with a bespoke touch to each of the rooms. The designs are slightly different in each room. They’re durable and fun, luxurious, warm and quirky – creating a memorable moment every time anyone walks into a room, with something quite special for everyone. The brief for the apartment: completely redesign it. With the longer staying guest in mind, the design continues on from the themes of the rooms in the hotel, but with a more elegant and classical interpretation, drawing inspiration from the locality, with Green Park being a main point of reference. The colour palette of the design reflects this, with soft greens and blues. The calm and sophisticated living room radiates serenity, with a rich colour palette of green-greys and refreshing touches of white.
Throughout the apartment we paid detailed attention to the specification and finishes, resulting in a stylish, practical and sleek design. Ultimately we wanted to maximise what could be achieved within the space. We optimised the apartment with big structural changes. This bespoke apartment reflects the unique design that Suna Interior Design created – a classical affair in a contemporary world.
