Handel Architects is an architecture, interior design, and planning firm that was founded in New York City in 1994. Led by Gary Handel, the firm has grown to include more than a hundred architects, interior designers, planners and support staff in New York City, San Francisco, Hong Kong and Abu Dhabi. With a staff of five architects, four interior designers and two administrative assistants, Mr. Georgis has designed and completed numerous residential, institutional, and commercial projects in the United States. These include new houses in Southampton, New York, many New York City townhouses, a pied-a-terre for a South American couple at the Carlyle Hotel in Manhattan, an art museum, a research institution, renovations to a Soho art gallery in Manhattan, a Chinese restaurant in Manhattan, and the renovation of the public spaces of the landmarked Lever House in New York City.
