is a modern stone-age Australian family business and lighting concept formed by a trio of creatives – (father) Max, (mother) Gillian and (daughter) Jerrie-Joy. Hailing from varied backgrounds in the film and arts industries, their designs are conceptually informed, using a playful and unrestricted imaginative process.
Conceiving their first table lamp collection as the answer to ‘What would Barney Rubble have in his house?’, the designs are influenced by monolithic symbolism, natural history and reminiscent of treasured items from antiquity.
Starting as a mindful creative output during COVID outbreak, the lamps take form at the intuitive hands of all three collaborators in various stages. Separated by states and border closures, the trio communicated virtually to develop the series over the year. What began as a way to stay connected creatively, grew organically into a business.
